    Actually, this may be a significant challenge to a driverless vehicle. The car might need to explain or justify its driving decisions to certain passengers. Or the passengers might know a better solution that might benefit the driverless vehicle. Its more complicated than I realized.

    If I should someday trust a driverless car enough to actually get in one, I’m not going to be paying any attention to the road at all. If I can’t treat it like a bus or taxi, then there’s really no advantage over what we have today..As for the comic, if your wife is “back-seat” driving, you’ve got to suck it up. If it’s your kid, you tell him to be quiet or else.

    If they use GPS to go to their destinations, they may not get there at all. Not from what I’ve seen and heard about trips people took. It may say go right when you know darn well you have to go left.
