The consensus seems to be that it was not a hydrogen bomb. But the possibility that North Korea is working on a hydrogen bomb is what has so many people freaking out, because hydrogen bombs are not only at least a thousand times as powerful, they are small. Small enough to be stuck in a missile and fired off to any spot in the world. I was utterly opposed to the lies re WMD in Iraq, but now I find myself contemplating the deeply radical step of the U.S. invading North Korea. Better if China does it, of course, to snuff out Kim Yung Un and start reconstructing a less crazy society.
Just remember righties, if we take military action against either Iran or North Korea, it’s going to cost a lot of money. You ready to have your taxes raised…or should we borrow more from China and Saudi Arabia?And in regards to Iran, are you ready to pay $10.00 a gallon for gas?
I too find it distressing when a country chooses to spend much more on weapons than it does on its own impoverished. Building bombs over helping it’s own citizens. Not that NK has a monopoly on that.
