Arlo: Did you set the coffee pot?
Janis: Yes.
Arlo: Maybe I should make sure!
Janis: I set it!
Arlo: OK!
Arlo: You're always asking me to double check the door locks!
Setting up the coffee pot is one of the thing I do every week night. It is only rare that I get it all ready and forget to turn the ‘program’ button on. on those mornings, we have to wait 10 minutes for the coffee to brew……BRUTAL.
That’s what I love about my Keurig, the water stays hot so all I have to do is press the button and I get hot coffee without waiting or programming it!
The one we have to get up and do most often is to turn off the furnace before going to bed. He sleeps colder than I do, so we turn off the furnace and sleep under an electric blanket that we can each control the heat.
We have that all covered. We don’t drink coffee. We also don’t have to lock our doors. We live way out on a farm with a huge locked electric fence and gate and two huge 130 pound dogs. “Did you take your medication?” Is the biggie here. We live in the grannie flat, and are happy to have it.
It appears that Arlo is naked at least down to his tummy. Maybe the kiss that Janis is giving him in the last panel is an upper persuasion for a lower invasion.
