I can’t remember if this is a strip in which animals talk, or only talk to kids?

To the best of my knowledge, Danders is the only animal in the strip that can talk to humans. In his early adventures he could also talk to other adults such as the package delivery guy and the megamart greeter, but I don’t recall whether that capability has been kept up.

RT stated once that he didn’t want to turn “Cul de Sac” into a Talking Animal strip, so he’s careful about how he uses Danders.

No wonder he’s “…without portfolio…” He probably ate that when he ran out of cardboard tubes.

Guinea Pigs of the future from this humanity are the rodents that survive in the future… However, rats will not survive long and will live “an eternity of lives chasing their tail”…
