The images appear to be taken from printed newspaper pages. Are any of McCay’s original “Nemo” drawings still available?

The aborigine in the strip kills me. He is the only one communicating with the reader.

Nemo doesn’t have to outrun the polar bear – he just has to outrun one of the others!

I have never read whether or not McCay did his own colouring. I’d love to know.
