Now that the price of natural gas went down and the price of electricity went up, I turned my thermostat up to 74°F. That way I don’t need to use a space heater here at the computer.

Global climate change is caused by solor variability and the precession of the earth’s axis. The human contribution is only 1/10 that predicted by the various models. Keep in mind, the sides of glaciers at the South Pole recieve the same energy per given area as sand in the Sahara desert does. The humidity at the South Pole is near zero, so the main lass of the glaciers is through evaporation, like in a frost free refrigerator. The real problem on our end is all the energy we use ends up as heat. Nuclear fuels are less efficient than carbon based ones, thus generate more heat. The Prius car actually runs on coal and the energy chain generates more heat than gasoline does. The problem isn’t global warming, it is the global heating we produce through the inefficient ways we consume energy. To understand some of the solutions being proposed, follow the grant money. Don’t comment unless you know the proof recycled paper isn’t green. Hint: carbon fuels only give back yesterday’s sunlight. An engine burning gasoline is really solar powered in the most efficient way. It’s why life is carbon based.

The Lefties would have us believe that only humankind is responsible for climate change. The earth’s climate has been changing since the birth of the solar system. Long before homo sapiens evolved.

The nasty stuff in the air, water & soil should be a strong enough argument without climate muddying the waters further.

Amazing how you and the right-wing blowhards on Fox News know more about climate change than 97% of the world’s climatologists..You mean the climatologists that get all those grants as long as their ‘study’ reveals global warming?.And by the way, please, PLEASE drop the name calling and political begging the question. They don’t contribute to the arguments and…Never mind, go ahead – it just shows who you are and where you are coming from.
