I still cling to the sounds of the 60’s & 70’s but I’ve been surprised lately at some fabulous new music with the 60’s feel. If you steer clear of the rap-crap & hip-slop this is another golden age for music. Check out Andy Grammer’s “Baby I’m Good” and Elle King’s Exes & Ohs.
I just saw the “Beav” Jerry Mathers from Leave It To Beaver, on a commercial for Tyoe2 Diabetes. I guess it happens to the best of us, LOL, but MAN DID I FEEL OLD! You could still tell who he was, but, well, Sam and Lil understand, don’t you?

Not only that, most of them are too busy trying to “make the song their own” to actually sing them. Vocal narcissism.
