Had an aunt like that. Well not as bad,but she did Expect you to be there at the appointed time. But to expect the Pennys to wait 5 minutes is ridiculous…
If you show up five minutes early, she would say: “You’re too early, go back home and come back in five minutes!”
Yes they waited, “… like one pig waits for another”, to quote my grandmother.
But, did they leave anything for Marlene/ Probably ate it all themselves. After all, what could they possibly do with leftovers?
Why would anyone ever want to eat with them?
