If the bird is freezing, the last thing he should do is brush off the snow. It’s a superb insulator.

I don’t think that’s a shiver – shivers don’t usually throw the straw around INside.

Now he knows he should have flown South before the first snowfall!

If that silly little bird would learn to migrate with his friends, this would be moot.
