Janis: Ha! Look! Two Christmas cards!
Janis: Both from people I sent cards to on Monday!
Janis: Who do they think they're fooling!?
Arlo: That's the spirit!
and you know darn well if one of those cards was from someone she ‘missed’, she has a stack of last minute cards all ready to be quickly sent out. Ho ho ho!
But it’s still wonderful to get cards and be remembered by friends and family. Enjoy it. My wife sometimes writes a letter in February to everyone. People have time to read it then.
This is the year that I quit ‘sending cards’..(and apparently a lot of my ‘sendees’ agree) just to phone ‘em up for an extended chat and let it go at that. The phone/DSL bill remains, but ’pretty cards’ and stamps go up every dam day it seems, and thus and so, I step back out of the limelight.

I just like the tradition…..I kinda like to make them goofy, though…I sometimes don’t do a tree, Outdoor lights are a must
