Incredible that the very folks who tell us, constantly, to fear terror, and all forms, mostly of course Muslim, as the McVeighs, Dears, and other home-grown non-Muslim shooters are just “mentally unbalanced good guys with a problem”, also want to make sure all these terrorists have ready access to guns, ammunition, and by extension explosives like smokeless powder for pipe bombs.
I understand the fear gun owners/sellers/makers have about not allowing people on the no fly list to buy guns/rifles. It tends not to take much to get on that list. If it is made illegal to purchase if on that list, then they might be concerned everyone would be put on the list. Then no one could legally buy a gun/rifle.Still, with so many existing weapons in public and private hands, people can still share. Tho there was a scarcity of bullets for a short while, there are plenty of stockpiles in private hands and people buying blocks of bullets every month or so. {and contrary to the fear of some, there is no mass call for gun confiscation, the call is for regulation.}
