The Arizona lawmakers aren’t interested in doing anything, they just passed this law to make it look like they were doing something..

They passed the law but no budget for enforcement, staffing, or guidelines on who was suppose to do it and how.

They just dumped it on the local law enforcement.

i live in southern, southern california. we don’t need any more illegals and the mexican-americans here are grumbling about taking “their country back”.

we also have a major tax problem, un-employment and a manipulating/manipulated governor.

eveybody wanted to live at the beach, see/be the movie star(s) and enjoy tolerable weather, live in eden. it’s turned into hell !

Follow the Constitution and fund the feds to do the job, as is the FEDERAL role: that can include using state officials if the feds ask for it. The STATE cannot, however, step in on their own and take over the Federal role assigned in the Constitution as exclusive.

Church- you didn’t read my post? It is also possible for Feds to make an arrest, and have the Solicitor decline to prosecute, or choose to charge the people under state laws if they don’t want to slap the person with a federal felony charge.

Federal courts ARE superior to ALL state courts- it’s in the Constitution. The states cannot reverse that role.

I still say Greg Palast has it right; it’s about denying Latinos a vote in AZ, intimidating them away from even trying, since the previous schemes didn’t quite work…
