Very much the fate I envisioned for The Hangman in previous days’ comments (though I did at one point say he’d hang in his own noose, evidently not how it happened if Tracy’s statement today is accurate). Soon, The Hangman’s identity will be revealed, and then we can at least guess at his motive(s) for the murders he committed and what Midnite Mirror meant in his criminal imagination….

More excellent art. I especially like Sam handing Tracy his hat, which left Tracy’s head last Friday. Tracy needs his hat, even if it is his red “Boss” Tracy hat. Not through this red hat did a single bullet pass, so it shan’t join the infamous collection, which resides under glass.

If you really want to see the comment count skyrocket, all Mike and Joe need do is feature Mysta.Every time she appears, the numbers routinely hit 100.-The summer’s big story with the Blackhearts and the mysterious Mr. Bigg, and the big reveal of Mr. Bribery was very complex, with lots of characters and lots to comment on. Not so much with this short mystery.Still, the real motives and killer’s identity have me guessing.-I haven’t been saying much because I’m dealing with some difficult things. I’m getting packed to move, Sunday is my late wife’s birthday, then it’s the fourth anniversary of our son’s death (Christmas Eve), and the second anniversary of her death on January 3. I’m almost glad to have the move to focus on, but so much of the stuff I’m packing is theirs.

Do you think “Entangled in and hung by Tracy’s safety harness during fall from platform while attempting to hang Tracy” might be a bit more precise?I was just putting it in Tracy’s own words.In regards to the number of comments, you all are forgetting another spike in comments: The Return of the Nitrates at the start of this year, with the shocking, sudden death of Mrs. Flattop followed by the Nitrates’ attempted murder of Kandikane Lane and Vitamin Flintheart. I think there was at least one day in that story where we had over 200 comments. In fact, it was during this period that the unofficial death list was created. I still think it’s the best story of this year and one of the best Curtis & Staton have done.

Who said The Hangman was a good planner. I don’t think his plan was well thought out at all, and then it changed at the last minute. There’s been a pattern of criminals like that in recent stories.
