We used to have a cat that only chewed on one thing – photos. You can tell when we got her and when she died, by looking for puncture wounds in our photo albums.

Our absolutely perfect dog, Range, had one problem which we didn’t know until too late. He was so perfect that he had the run of the house while we were out. What we didn’t know was that, when someone went by the house, he would hop on the couch (which we obviously didn’t use much) to look out the window, get really excited, and…dig. He was very gentle and all he did was fray the top. Down to the under-stuffing. Well, nobody’s perfect…

During his chewing stage, one of ours liked to sleep behind the couch. He found something back there, long and slim and black – When he chewed on it, it left a black mark on the wall.He stopped going behind the couch about the same time the table lamp stopped working.

We had the “original” Marley before the movie. Alex who was lab/dobie mix that was our first lab and wow did he destroy. I’d go to work each day and they’d all ask what did Alex do today….the day I told them the whole kitchen floor there was “dead silence” in the office. However, after training and as the vet said once he turned 2 years old he was an angel. And very very protective of us.
