This is a hard thing to teach kids, my son is 41 years old, 5 kids and still thinks that I like the same crap he likes. And we have the same conversation every year. I think he’s hoping I’ll give the present back to him, I rather throw it in the garbage.

She’s always got her hair up in that high" ponytail: so get her an assortment (not just one, unless it’s like 14k gold or sterling silver) of really neat ponytail holders (not those little cloth or elastic bands, mind you. Something like empresses and duchesses and princesses like to wear when…..!!!!!!….. I have a sudden, eerie feeling that I’m talking into a vacuum………..

Really depends what kind of girl Trudy is – she might like a Dark Knight action figure. “Girl” doesn´t automaticly mean she is into the stereotypically girlie stuff. Also it would be really funny if she mentions how she would really have wanted that action figure – or if Nate finds the perfect gift how she thought he might have bought her that action figure for her.
