I was making my much sought after Pecan Pie. I was doing two so a relative could have one to take home with him. I made one last night…looked good. Made the other this morning. BUT! I was looking at the mixture, which seemed rather thin. OMG! I forgot to put in the dark Karo which is supposed to be mixed with the eggs as step #2. We’ll see if it makes a difference in the order of things. At least I caught it before pouring it into the pie shell on the pecans. It’s a terrible thing to lose your mind! Happy Thanksgiving to all…
