The poppy tradition is still strong in the UK – more in evident in the last few years than ever. Did any of you see the Poppy Memorial at the Tower of London to mark the beginning of WWI last year?
I have my Dad’s burial flag, dog tags, hat, and medals in a display case on top of a bookcase beside me! He is long gone now, but I will never forget what he sacrificed for our country, and the rest of the free world…
