    Population in low areas – and some are below sea level – expect sea walls and other expensive fixes. This is to the great benefit of construction companies.

    California,among others, thinking back to Palo Verdes penninsula, and along the Gulf coast, and of course Atlantic coast, have tried decades of “beach stabilization”, which has failed, or typically, made things worse by “protecting property”, erosion is erosion.

    Rising tidal levels due to bigger sea changes, are a bigger, meaner, animal, and like previous errors, we, as humans, are causing it.

    Among the brilliant moves of course, is building on barrier islands, watching those houses float away in hurricanes, and INCREASE damage further inland!

    Yep, keep moving the castle kid.
