What’s the probability Rev Croom’s complaints are due to not being given the ENTIRE winnings?

Our church celebrated it’s 165th anniversary this past June.We were blessed to have Rev. L.K. Curry as our guest speaker that Sunday. My father had a situation like that, earmarked for an organ. He said he would accept it if it were anonymous, to avoid people looking at it and saying, “That’s from the biggest gambler in the county.” The offer was withdrawn.

Most pastors today wouldn’t care where the money came from as long as they got some.

Well Rev. At least he was honest about it. I don’t think my Pastor would have lectured him like that. A gentle rebuke goes a long way.

But it was church bingo!

This looks like a rerun. But, it’s good.

My pastor would not have taken it. He would have gently rebuked the person and given scripture to back it up.
