Early morning greetings to all East Coat readers/commenters.And late night greetings to all West Coast readers/commenters.-——-Typical cat behavior.-——-Have a prosperous day my friends.
MCTS: It’s only 7 AM and already lots of cute pics. Time to go set up for the rummage sale. Keep good thought that we raise a decent amount for the cats.
Cats will be cats, Annie, but we still love them. Pictures today are just great. Some are too, too funny and some are too, too cute. Thanks for the laughs and smiles.
bbear, That car looks like it could belong to my neighbor, but she had 13 cats at last count, 15 if you include the 2 that have taken up residence in her garage. >^oo^<
We had Morgan, a tuxedo, when my friend ordered these. She crossed that rainbow bridge shortly thereafter. So now we say it represents all of our fosters. I tried to find a little halo to go on it but didn’t have any luck.
These are the types of conversations I have. One straight on to whomever I am addressing and one to the side directed at the kids because they are doing or getting into something they shouldn’t. I get on the phone and Buster turns into a two year old.
Thank you for the offer of a place to live. I have found a couple of places, but they only allow one cat. I will not give up my kids….not one…..not both!!!!Queen of America is mistaken about the humidity in Colorado. In the summer it might get to 30% if we have a lot of rain, and in the winter it is usually in the single digits. That is why it is called a high (because of altitude) desert. I would have trouble with the humidity, but if it comes down to living out of my truck or on the street, I may have to relocate to another state until the housing in Colorado improves. It means the world to me that you offered me and my babies a space. I wish you were closer, but just knowing I can have a roof over our heads helps the stress level. You never know…….maybe someone knows someone who knows someone who is related to someone that has the perfect place for the three of us.As you can see, I am up late. Going off of the pain meds gives me insomnia really bad and unfortunately I can’t seem to do anything constructive this time of the day even when I am wide awake. I have gotten maybe four hours sleep in the last three days. will be glad when I am completely done with the meds.Again, thank you for the offer. It means the world to me that it was given.
Rikkie Tavi post a couple of days ago about the link to Breaking Cat News and their strip on rescue kitties………Both my babies are special needs. Precious is so shy, she was scheduled to be put down the next day if she was adopted. I didn’t know that until I was headed out the door with her. She is the lovingest (yep that’s a word) thing anyone could ask for. No one ever sees her because she is still so shy, but she lives on my shoulder when ever I sit down and that is where she sleeps. Buster is missing his left eye and doesn’t do well on antibiotics, so if he has problems and for some reason would not respond to medication they would have to put him down. I can’t and will not live without my babies. They were both older than kitten when I got them and I have not regretted bringing them into my life for one second. That is why, when it comes to housing, I have to have a place that will allow me to have both of my babies. Period!!
If anyone ever heard me with the Boston cats sometimes…I DON’T CARE WHO IT WAS, KNOCK IT OFF…DON’T MAKE ME COME IN THERE! They’re all great, though., really.
About that winter trip: my friend drove up to the mountains to some historical site. The parking lot was nothing but a sheet of ice and before I had gone 10 steps I was on my behind. I couldn’t get any sort of traction to get up – it was actually pretty funny. Judy turned around and asked “What ARE you doing down there?” The tone of her voice just cracked me up which made it worse – there I was on my behind laughing hysterically. People walked by me and just gave me a sad look.
I also received donations to my GoFundMe campaign as birthday presents today.A total of $520.00 !!!You know who you are.Thank you very much, everyone! Its been a good day, all the way around!
