    And that ultra-thin lead breaks if there’s a millimeter too much exposed or you press a tiny bit too hard. Those things aren’t worth the paper you’re not writing on!

    these things were invented right before plotters became affordable. the line always stayed the same width and you didn’t have to twirl the pencil. fortunately, plotters solved all those problems. next: fighting recalcitrant ink pens…

    I learned that the first thing you do is remove the eraser & replace with anything that will fit! If you use a pencil keep an eraser handy.
