That used to sound like a threat, now it’s beginning to sound like an acceptable alternative.

You have to be an idiot to equate looking into the control of congress by the gun lobby with confiscation of guns.

NRA represents under 2% of gun owners. The manufacturers are the ones lobbying Congress with the big bucks, they are the real “lobby”.

Echoraven might look a little closer at what Trump is saying, than any “liberals”, if you want a comparison to Germany in the late 1920’s and early 30’s.

But it is fixing their death from guns problem.Car safety (buckling up etc) is fixing their death from car accidents problem (but not actual crashes).Their drink-driving campaigns and anti-drink-driving legislation is helping drive down crashes and therefore deaths from accidents caused by drunk drivers (the trend since 1979 is downwards).

But saying it isn’t “working” in Australia and the UK doesn’t make it so even if you repeatedly say so; show us studies that indicate their gun-control legislation has not had an affect on their numbers of gun-deaths?

Einstein said the very definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. No country that has banned guns has seen a significant drop in violence. I asked you to present us with a country where this has happened. As usual, you failed miserably. The UK isn’t Australia which isn’t like any other country where a gun ban has been implemented, yet none of them had the desired effect. But you, in your infinite wisdom, want to pretend it will magically be different here? LOL! I can’t think of a more stupid position to take, but I am sure you will give a better example down the road.

Good post. I can see the point in refutation, so that others won’t be misled, but there is no chance for any kind of fruitful dialogue.

“Comparison of gun deaths in Australia and the USA:”.So why are you so heartless that you consider the only murder worth studying one done by a gun? When one looks at the murder rate regardless of weapon, the US has been on a steady decline, yet Australia has not. The fact murders by gun went down while overall murders stayed the same proves that gun laws and even gun bans don’t work. Well, unless, of course, you’re only interested in gun deaths and don’t give a crap about anyone else murdered. It isn’t about people being murdered the left cares about. It is only HOW they are murdered that matters to them.

rallsolo had a weekend break but came back hellbent on retorting to everyone even on older threads.

Except to those with data that contradicted what he rants on.Because, as he said: “I don’t need to show you any studies.”

He should turn up at the University of Texas and rant there:

Students are using dildos to call out U.S. gun laws

"Their motto: "Just about as effective at protecting us from sociopathic shooters, but much safer for recreational play.”
