I agree Rallsolo, raise taxes and fix the infrastructure, make it advantageous to invest in America instead of offshore accounts. Remember that the strength of America is in the poor and the middle class, not just the wealthy.
Many gun deaths are the result of accidents. Everything from a police chief who shot his wife in bed with the gun under his pillow, to the toddler who killed his parent with a handgun found under the couch. Mental health care can’t fix stupid.
Read “Ricochet” by a former NRA lobbyist, and see how the manufacturers ARE the “lobby” , represented by groups in addition to the NRA, which changed radically under LaPierre and associates.

echoravenInteresting trio you quote there, all three supported slavery and thus feared any notion by them for freedom without superior weaponry to keep them in chains. Today, the chain are metaphorical, but you are bound by them just the same.
You would have to be able to read minds to prove any kind of point. You can’t. So it does not apply. It stands as pure troll material.[]It’s called an OPINION Dag, got that?
Actually, I’d suggest going to a “Swiss” system. Not the Fictitious one the Gun Nuts rave about: The Real One..It is true that, in Switzerland, most households DO have a gun. But, most households also have at least One adult who served a period in the Swiss armed forces and has been Carefully Trained in the Use of that gun. What they Do Not have is ANY Ammunition stored in the home.Ammunition is Very Carefully regulated and is generally restricted to use at a Gun Range for Supervised Target Practice. Any Swiss Adult can go to a range and receive instruction, practice with their weapon and enjoy as much shooting as they can afford. But, again, the Ammunition does NOT leave the Range. .For some strange reason, the Swiss are one of those countries with a Low gun Violence rate.
