Off to the cabin later today for Canadian Thanksgiving. I’ll be back by sometime Tuesday at the latest (I’m hoping we’ll come back Monday, but mother-in-law hates traffic).

@Last Rose: Absolutely love the picture and the Williams quote. My kitty is not an animal, she is a family member. How people can mistreat them is beyond me. There was a news story last night about a kitty named Blossom that had been tortured and had it’s ears burned. There is truly evil in this world.

My Dad’s had some serious heart problems a few years ago and he’s doing really well now

Rose Rabbit, hope you keep us posted on your doctor appointment. I have a friend, the only person I trust with my kids, that has had open heart surgery. She is a nurse and is doing great. Her surgery was years ago and they have improved treatment over time. We will be pulling for you.

On another note, the option of a spare bedroom in Utah is no longer available. I have had an offer of a spare bedroom here in Colorado. I am checking out all those listings that mythical_ listed the other day. I know things will work out, they always do.

I don’t know what we would do without this close, loving community here on Ten Cats. Thank you Graham for building a world for us.

We here in the Pacific Northwest are going to get some much needed rain this weekend.Hurricane Oho is pushing 14 foot swell ahead of it and rain.Woo Hoo!The bad part of it is that the waves will be coming in from the south. Most storms we get come in from the north. The beaches may be moved around a bit. Extra erosion on south facing beaches. It may be worth my time to go beach combing after.
