Reminds me of a saleslady trying to teach people how to be badger, uh, better salespeople; and one of her tricks was an assumptive close on phoning a cold contact so as to get an appointment: “Is Tuesday good? Is Wednesday better?” Every line she would drop in trying to convince the target to succumb would be followed immediately by “Is Tuesday good? Is Wednesday better?” Even if one of the guys in that seminar would have pushed that line, way too pushy.
