Hey, they reset the gocomics clock. Great! I really like the different looks on Honeymoon’s face today. She’s so expressive, and worried for sure! Tracy knew just what to say to ease her concerns and put a smile back on her face. What a wise grandpa! And what great art today by Joe Staton!

Are Annie and Punjab still around, or were they just whisked away without a goodbye?

Yes, everyone changes. It’s part of life for all of us.

I love Tracy’s appearance in the last panel… and I was shocked but very pleased to see that the GoComics clock is working properly again.

Another great strip. Wonderful sentiments & another classic portrait of Tracy in the 3rd panel. These milder scenes are needed to add to the ongoing stories. As always, Thank You,Team Tracy!

    Good Morning, VB!

Wisdom from the venerable detective. I agree, cpalmeresq. It’s touches like this that show everyone the heart and soul that is Dick Tracy. Mike & Joe (and crew) did it again. Now we can have a story arc with Rikki Mortis? Pleeeease??

Tracy’s got a ‘Robert Stack’ vibe going on in panel three.

Some nice grandfatherly advice from Dick Tracy seems to reassure Honeymoon, the uncertain heroine….

Pop-Pop gets right to the bottom line: “…they love you. We all do.” So true. What a great character. Honeymoon is very expressive. What a great face. More of the good stuff from Joe Staton.

A very delightful strip for today. This is what makes my favorite strip, much more enjoyable. It is like the early strips with Junior.

And yet another storyline without full closure. Who among the Blackhearts can be added to the Death List? Which ones were taken into custody besides Doubleup? Why do we never see the aftermath of these confrontations? I personally would prefer to see more graphic action from the principal players, namely Tracy and crew. Chester Gould always provided an ending which left you no doubt as to where the villains stood at the end. Time to end the ambiguousness in all this, I say. But that’s just me. What do the rest of you think?

Gweedo mentioned, margeuritem’s invention, supported by a wooden pig on a cart…-———————————————————————.The POW was a highlight of the O’Connell Circus story. One commenter insisted that the Pig on Wheels was a barbecue cart. Others among us saw it as a Pig on Wheels. Controversial! Marguerite and Don travel frequently.

Gweedo noted,… when it was an after growth from the strip itself; one of Locher’s more memorable favorable devices.-——————————————————————-.margueritem, Flight Suit, myself, and others derived a lot of pleasure from the POW incident. I believe that might have been what prompted our being called, “sock puppets”. We took our conversations to the Spanish version of Mutt and Jeff. Oh, those were the days!

Honeymoon’s looking concerned. Pop-Pop eases her mind. I know this isn’t crimefighting, but I love today’s strip just for the art alone. Beautiful.

Honeymoon ought not to be in the front passenger seat unless the airbag is switched off.
