Even from the back of his head, you can see Timmy’s “will you guys cut it out” expression.

You really miss a lot, because it’s so hard to capture the full, rich happenings in a single panel. You see….Timmy’s negotiating a deal where he runs away and works on the farm if the guy doesn’t turn him in. Anything not to have to get back in the car. He’s between Joy and Marlene, and with their width, he can feel the waves of liquidy fat slosh through thunder thighs with every bump in the road, and unrinsed bras are pressed against him beneath thin WalMart blouses. It’ll take him a week to get the chemical stench of their faux lavender cologne out of his brain. He’s at the point where he actually welcomes the distraction of their silent but deadly emissions, even if they do point to him and when the men ask, “What smells?” .The “farmer” has just taken pity on Timmy and let him in on the secret, that there is no farm, he just found the “Sun Farm” hat beside the road, and the tomatoes come from Sal’s Produce Depot where Sal has them trucked in from Mexico from that farm where there’s no toilet facility for the field hands. “Sun Farm” sells them for three times the grocery store rate. The “farmer” is an old hippy and will slip Timmy a 1968 copy of the SDS Sabotage Manual for Timmy to practice with at home. Timmy likes the thermite bomb and thinks it would do a nice job on Burl’s recliner and an even better job if Burl was sitting in it at the time.
