I just keep thinking a sniper does his job very quietly. Taking down the “enemy” is more important than making a lot of noise about it.
The other factor of course is that a lot of those folks complaining about “government overreach” don’t realize just how limited government is, thanks to Reagan, Bush, Newt, Bush, and numerous Congressmen riding in the elephant races, in actually controlling ANYTHING CORPORATE!.
If he shouts and waves his fist, he will be blasted for “putting on a show, instead of solving the problem” If stays quiet then he is blased for ignoring the problem and being weak.
If you think he should do more, then what is more?
It is very frustrating to watch day after day as the spill gets worse, but what action can we take that hasn’t already been taken?
This is a mess, but let’s not use it spread more anger, we are too divided already, and more anger only leads to more division.

why would he not accept the help when offered. he said we need help from the world on every other matter,why not this one. what is he scared of.

When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping, or go cut some brush. (Some go bird hunting and shoot a lawyer, maybe a better idea?)
