It rained today, because of all the heat, the leaves are turning earlier than usual. I should be in the 70s all week and 80 next week. No more heat! (fingers crossed)

Pam, glad to hear you finally got a good night’s sleep and got some errands done. Don’t try to overdo things.

Just to let everyone know, Paul and I are off to the cabin until Monday, so I will not be commenting.

Great night. Feel more rested finally. Today is catch up paperwork, pay bills and phone calls. It is supposed to be a little cooler today. Sure hope so. No visitors scheduled during th day, no appointments, so will take it easy and do my exercises. Precious wants to lay on me all the time. Buster is so protective, just like a puppy dog. It is supposed to cool down this week. I sure hope so as the heat sucks my energy.From here on out it will be slogging along with exercises and relearning how to have a normal life. I’m having to learn how to walk all over again. That is strange. It is great to be home, but I am just a little anxious since this is all new.May not post for a few days as there won’t be anything new. But will log in and check on Annie and the kitties. Will let you know when I get forwarded cards from rehab.Keep thinking good thoughts for all of us that need it. They really do help.

I got confirmation that the newspaper in Newport did my story.They failed to let me know.It’s in the Oregon Newport News Times for Aug. 12Under “Transportation”.When I get a chance to find it I will try to put up a link to it.

@Pam: Good. Be safe and happy at home with your kids watching over you, relax and gets lots and lots of rejuvenating sleep. You’ve more than earned it. I fully understand how the heat saps one’s strength. Me too. Even the dog only wants short walkies.

I’m sure my parents thought that, lol I used my English Degree in Retail- not!I am now using the degree I paid for myself in my new job. I will write a book with my English Degree after this.

Chesney is way too full of himself.

Glad they warned me about bad days. I have a tendency to over do just a bit. Tuesday was full day coming home and all. Yesterday was full with doc appoint., grocery store, and lunch. Today was a bad day. Not in pain, but just feeling overwhelmed. Of course, I was completely alone also. Computer acted up while trying to pay my bills and that frustrated me. It is so hard not to do the simplest thing because it will break that awful 90 degree rule. I feel so tied and stressed about moving wrong. Why does your whole life have to exist from your knees down??? I get another night under my belt and maybe I’ll feel better. Good to know you are all out there and support my venting. Thank you.

Pam – Listen to Dry and Dusty! (lol) It’ll fall into place if you let it. Don’t do anything that’s not completely necessary, choose carefully. Keep your own well being first on your list.
