Anyone who wears a red shirt needs to be wary. Oops, I’m sorry, I was thinking of the original Star Trek. People in red shirts were dispensable, so those would be the first to go.
The thing that amazes me is how people like Rita get where they are. In truth I would not hire her for anything. And I know people like her.
I am going to speculate that Rita is looking for the magic number of how many to let go.
