I think I got it figured out. Ashley Madison is a dating site, like Eternity.com, or whatever. He has a profile on Ashley Madison, and it is about to get out to the rest of the office, if not the world.
So basically he doesn’t want the office to know that he is the Mike McGonegal with the AM profile.
That being said, I have heard of a number of online relationships that are working out very well. I would not rule out online dating if I was in a position to date. My wife would frown on that though, probably.
Sorry, i got it wrong. In this case, and for the sake of my marriage, I hesitate to think what would have happened if I got every detail about AM sites right. Thank you all for the clarification.
FWIW, when I Googled Mike McGonegal he appeared to be a professional voice-over actor who sells his voice for commercials and other productions. I don’t see how that relates to this comic, or if it even does. Too obscure for me.

I have some idea of what the Ashley Madison thing is, but after I Googled Mike McGonegal I still don’t understand this. Bring the dog back.
