When my son wanted to learn to ice skate, I thought I’d learn, too.My first time on skates, I was inching forward, hearing the splats of other newbies.i was distracted by someone nearby gong down, and glanced to my side, “Thinking, hey, this isn’t so bad.” Then I looked forward again and found myself looking at my right skate, which was now at eye level (kind of like Jon’s foot, only higher up).And I thought, “What’s that doing-”Broke my wrist, and most of my desire to learn to skate.
