Woodpeckers sometimes made holes in the cedar siding on our garage while I was in there. Scared the heck out me. It sounded like a power tool : ratatat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat, really fast.
Like Poe’s Telltale Heart, Sluggo is haunted by the tap…tap…tap…!! He should not have rolled and killed old Gus the bum down by the river a few weeks back !!!
