Ever try writing a book, then attempt to raise it above the tsunami of books published every year with a marketing budget that consists of 144 postage stamps? Once Alex’s book tanks, Betty will feel better.
Alex’s book was probably published by a “vanity” publisher. She paid to have it published and probably will not make any money from it.
