We had a similar setup when I was a Senior in High School. A class at 0730 or 0800 was little more than a place to get counted.
Only the dead couldn’t pass the course, and being awake was not a requirement. Downright a problem, actually.
It’s been more than 50 years, and about all I can remember is the name of the teacher, and that of the course.
