Robert Lee Griffin III (born February 12, 1990), nicknamed RG3, is an American football quarterback for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Baylor, where he won the 2011 Heisman Trophy, and was drafted by the Redskins second overall in the 2012 NFL Draft.1 Griffin won the 2012 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award.2
