It flagged OK for me

My first thought was “4 out of 5?? That one woman who’s not menopausal must be made out of down feathers.”

harmgb your not the only one, I too not today, have flaged the spammers and wouldn’t take. I wonder if gocomics feel as long as it’s not offfensive, bad fowl lanage, no problem if it bothers other commentor, they can post. Little do they know commentors DON’T LIKE SPAMS could loose customers. But feel there will be others.

Ms Eliot I wonder if she is trying to tell us something. I know this is a strip. But can’t wonder any company wanting to pay that hugh of electric bill. Where I work at it’s not that cold.

Kab Buch, the accountants not only control the thermostat, they control what numbers Upper Management sees. No doubt they bury the electricty bill under a bunch of other accounts, and claim it only costs pennies…

Spam is flagged here. Some “advertisers” are putting their URL over the flag, so that when you click, you go to the link. However, using a different browser (Camino for me) may cause things to display a bit differently.

It does take a number of people to raise the red flag before the moderators will remove an offensive post. So flag away, all, carefully and merrily!

Don’t blame gocomics - the spammers make a new account and then post all over the site.

Sounds like the a/c at my school! I went outside to bask in the sun…and I usually enjoy air conditioning.

Someone’s not monitoring the flaggings. I flagged him, too, and that makes at least 5 of us.

I thought it took only three flaggings to get a post removed.

As someone else said on another comic, it’s the weekend and Gocomics gives their employees time off. I flag, too, but in the long run, what’s the big deal?

As always, the spam takes much longer to disappear on weekends. I presume Gocomics is only staffed five days a week (which is still d arn good for a free service!)

The spammers are using bots who may be all over the world, so there is probably no way to know what url they may use (they seem to have posted to every strip of the ones I read at the same time “15 hours ago”. Also the network security person may be off sick today- they usually do a good job of eliminating after we flag.

It didn’t flag OK if it’s still there – and it is still there.

Where I work at maintenance controls thermostat and boss has a say in it. Boss is cold blooded so is Admin Assist. When I have to move around and start pulling files to put paperwork in I work up a sweat and try a more convenient way will less effort.

I was able to flag the spammer. Harmless but annoying.
