Everyone seems to be assuming that Holly’s going to be forced to give up her room, but I’m not so sure. (I’m not sure that it won’t happen that way either, but I don’t see it as inevitable.) Going to all the trouble of giving Holly the room only in order to take it away from her 3 months later seems like a manufactured conflict…

One possibility I see (not a prediction, just a supposition):
Val tells Holly to give up her room. Holly objects. Evie insists that Holly keep the room, saying she’ll make other arrangements. Evie and Arnold find some place (a hotel, Arnold’s old apartment, etc.) TOGETHER, further upsetting Val.

Holly shouldn’t be in Gramma’s room in the first place. Gramma told Holly that when she donated her first $100 to charity, she could have her room (Gramma probably figured she’d be dead by that time). Holly never donated a cent - she just moved her stuff into Gramma’s room.
