You mean they don’t draw them in the morning, fax them to the pulishers, and have them printed for the next morning’s paper? As Carson always used to say, “I did not know that!” OK, I knew that, and I thought EVERYBODY knew that. I guess there was confusion with the strips on the Olympics, which were prepared a month BEFORE the long-announced start date, and the subject just HAPPENED to coincide with reality.
