God forbid that President Obama take a vacation. After all it’s not like his cutting down brush on his fake cowboy ranch while the worst terrorist attack on this nation is being plotted.

ConserveGov, then how do you account for the fact that the Republican-controlled House lambed out of town back in July with the Republican-controlled Senate following about a week later. Neither one is expected back to work until after Labor Day. Yet they have one their desks the Iran Treaty, the Highway Bill, etc. If you seriously think that the President is asleep at the wheel then that would mean you would also have to consider the GOP congress AWOL. But funny you don’t mention that.

Bush took more vacations that Obama. Oh, but he was White.

Keep in mind the population to employment ratio does not take into account underemployed or part time vs full time. If you earn a dollar during the month, you are counted as employed. It is a good measure, but a better measure would be to combine the ratio with the amount of dollars paid into Social Security. Those dollars measure total wages paid.

You were asked a straightforward question and you replied with a snide remark. Compared to Bush, Obama has taken far fewer “vacation days.” I put it in quotes because every president is briefed on what’s going on every morning. In fact, it was at the Crawford ranch that Bush was warned about Al Qaeda’s plans to attack the U.S.I like the fact you put illegal aliens on the list, because as we know that problem didn’t exist 30, 20, 10, or 5 years ago. Only if Obama wouldn’t take 2 weeks off, all the world’s problems would be solved.By the way, I like having a president who takes his summer vacation somewhere that is cool and near the ocean instead of in the middle of a barren desert.
