    Absolutely gorgeous!

I’ve seen a couple of people complaining about this strip…

but I have to say that I find it among the most enjoyable of these old comics.

It’s artful, distinctive, and readable. The clear, legible and linear layout give it a modern sensibility that makes it accessible even in the 21st century, so I find it actually funny, not just nostalgic.

And today’s strip is a gem… it seems generations ahead of its time.

The only one I had a hard time reading, the background blue was exceedingly dark and obscured the lettering. It was still lovely to look at!

My problem with this strip is not the art which is near perfect it is with the writing. Every day the same gag, the same pace, the writing has become nearly unbearably repetitious. Certainly that type of writing was in style at the time but I can see why so many comics of this time lasted such a short time.
