I doubt there are any military brass that don’t recognize ISIS is a direct result of the ineffective foreign policy over the last nine years. If you have to blame the rise if ISIS on anyone, he’s the guy they call The Commander In Chief.
Actually, they started off as the JTJ, a Jordanian off-shoot of Al Queda that started in the late 1990’s. AL-Zarqawi started it with the goal of “Exterminating the Shiites” within Jordan.They took the opportunity to solidify their hold on western Iraq when we destabilized the country, but they were there before we were.

That’s just not true. Let ISIS take responsibility for its actions. Nobody made them be terrorists.
