None of the refugees from Syria or Iraq have asked to go to Israel. They have gone to surrounding majority Islamic countries that are now overloaded and can’t handle more. That’s one of the many reasons why they are moving on to Europe.
The pope did not ask Israel to take refugees.
Europe did not ask Israel to take refugees.
The liberal party of Israel discussed whether Israel should offer to take refugees because the history of the Jewish people is that they are often refugees.
No vote has been taken on this issue, but the Prime Minister indicated opposition because of lack of resources.
No one has discussed building a wall around Israel to keep out refugees. Defenses around Israel are aimed at keeping out terrorists.
The US is filled with political candidates right now who are trying to outdo each other in their eagerness to talk about how they would build walls between the US and Mexico, how maybe a wall should go up between the US and Canada, etc.
Only President Obama has talked about allowing an increased number of Middle Eastern refugees in. Congress has been silent.
You have said nothing about the US not jumping eagerly into taking refugees, nor have you said anything about the US presidential candidates who want to build wall.
Why don’t you pack up YOUR hating gear and move off planet?
