It should be “. . . into a lion’s mouth,” not “. . . in a lion’s mouth.” Poor grammar goes hand-in-hand with poor political metaphors.

But that lion has absolutely NO gag reflex, so wha’t the problem other than taste? (Hmm, no taste either.)
Maybe if Trump dressed as a dentist with a crossbow the lion would rethink it’s position on the matter.
