In panel 2, Mama looks like a giant.

And in panel 11,. she looks like the woman who used to be on the Old Dutch Cleanser packaging.

I don’t think it is the same woman. She wears a different dress. Maybe a neighbour?

The caption says August 8, 1908, but the last comic was August 2, 1908. August 8 was a Saturday that year, so this must be the one for August 9, 1908.

It’s a wonder the panels didn’t collapse.

McCay always had a modern summer blockbuster in his head! Such an amazing fellow!
