While I don’t like John Ellis I do recognize that letting the field flash and fizzle is the better long term strategy. Its impressive behavior for a group that typically only looks 5 minutes into the future.
I cannot foresee any substantial difference between a Bush or Clinton presidency; congress is where the outcome matters and will the voters continue to elect the same ineffectual people?
Jeb still has the most of the biggest donors. He still has the Bush machinery. He still has Republican voters, who believe Jeb when he says that he wouldn’t have invaded Iraq because we now know that the intelligence was faulty.
And, of course, Republicans/Fox “news” viewers are always ready with the etch-a-sketch.
@superposition : there is one substantial difference – appointing supreme court justices. If a Republican wins, the court will gain more conservative judges, if a Democrat wins, the court will gain more liberal ones. That is a big deal no matter which party you support.

Nos Nevets: We must therefore seek Roger the Shrubber. Then with his aid the Knights who say “Ni!” may be appeased. And there will be much rejoicing.
