Hey I’ve had a boss like that, he told me…“Your morale is your problem, you can’t be happy to just have a job then leave, either get happy with a good morale or your fired”
Totally doesn’t get, people don’t just pick a morale like they pick their clothing.

Actually happened where I worked: Management called all employees to a meeting where what was imparted boiled down to No raises, departed employees will not be replaced, two new “Management Assistant” positions will be created, and oh, by the way, everyone (who’s not management) will work together to get the job done, even though they’re understaffed, and will be happy about it.
