Just disable the beep function. I did because it was so annoying. (If I need to locate my car, I just push the “car locator” button – the red one) :oD
My car doesn’t have any of these new-fangled devices.
Or hit the lock button on the inside before you slam the car door.
Or remember to push down the non-electric locks on each door.
Up until it decided to go wonky, my van’s alarm never beeped when I set it. No one knew whether or not it had an alarm system in it.
I installed a flashing led on my dash that flashed when the ignition was off. No one knew how the alarm worked, they left the car alone.
