I live in a rural area, and our local mail carrier is a woman. She drives her route using a pickup. A good carrier, too. Better than the ones who fill in for her occasionally.
Reminds me of my sister’s take upon first meeting the guy she eventually married: He was loud, he was boorish, he was obnoxious — and those were his good points!
