Back in the 70s and 80s I was a dedicated watcher(and gambler) on NFL football-college games were too much of a gamble. In the 70s I was making as much as $1000 a week gambling on NFL games. Took a whole lot of time every week in figuring who might beat the spread. Now, while I scan the sports section of my daily paper and read SI every week(or save them up and read 3 or 4 at once)I no longer watch football games. Tried to last year, but got involved in my first passion, reading and simply ignored the game. Never watch sports, seldom if ever watch the political channels, mostly watch the DIY channel, Velocity, H1&2 Science and HBO
because jocks think they can get away with anything from high school on up,assault a girl? dont worry ,the alumni will give her a bag of money and hey, dropped charges!
